ABOUT THE PROJECT

One of the largest and most acclaimed schools in Brazil, Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro, has a pedagogical project of attention to the student from preschool to high school. Created in 1988, the school educated the children of German immigrants and later became Colégio Visconde de Porto Seguro, in honor of historian and diplomat Ehren von Francisco Adolfo de Varnhagen. Traditionally, the school cultivate pride in the German culture and has many initiatives for strengthening its roots, but always inserting them in the world, going very well from the regional to the globalized. Today the school serves students at three locations: Morumbi, Valinhos and Panamby and offers two curriculum options, Brazilian and bilingual. Besides this, it has several mandatory and extra activities for the students, varying from drama, dance, typical dances, swimming, soccer, basketball, and even the Global Classroom, where students get in touch with students from other schools around the world.

With the intention of documenting the great variety of benefits offered by the school, Cabeça Amarela Filmes was the official contracted party and registered these moments in a delicate, yet persuasive, film.
